She completed her specialist training at Calcutta (DGO-2003) & at Pt. JNM medical college Raipur (MD-2006). She started practice in Kolkata in 2007. Furthermore, to improvise her professional skills, she went to England, where she worked as a specialist registrar at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Newcastle, UK for six months.
