Dr. Shweta is a medical graduate from Calcutta University. After receiving her MBBS in 1999 from R.G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata, she decided very early in her medical career to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Working Experience in Hospital
She completed her specialist training at Calcutta (DGO-2003) & at Pt. JNM medical college Raipur (MD-2006). She started practice in Kolkata in 2007. Furthermore, to improvise her professional skills, she went to England, where she worked as a specialist registrar at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Newcastle, UK for six months. Besides doing routine obstetrics and gynecology,she got the opportunity to work in specialised clinics such as high-risk pregnancy, early pregnancy, colposcopy, menopause, oncology, laparoscopy & hysteroscopy.
After returning from the UK, she started practice in Gurgaon. In 2010, she joined the Apollo Cradle and worked there till 2015. Since May 2015, she has worked as a Senior Consultant at Cloudnine Hospital in the Dept. of O&G till 2022. Presently, she's working at Motherhood hospital, which operates in 21 state-of-the-art facilities across India. She is able to offer a holistic multidisciplinary approach in the management of patients.
